Publication of AIC Y001/2018 UK Flight Information Services
The ICAO requirements for a Flight Information Service within Class E and G airspace in the UK are met through a suite of air traffic services that are collectively known as the UK Flight Information Services (FIS). These services are provided in accordance with CAP 774: UK Flight Information Services and are detailed within UK AIP ENR 1.1-12.
AIC Y001/2018 on the UK FIS contains important new guidance for pilots on traffic information when in receipt of a Basic Service or Traffic Service, Procedural Service and actions that should be taken by pilots and aircraft operators.
